Link to a local website details of my Alfa90.
Am in the process of tidying up my Alfa, getting worn out and a little unreliable of late. Used about 60 litres of premium fuel to do 600km round trip recently. I have had plenty of reasons to dislike my Alfa but occassionally when on a country road , not holding back, she just seems to do everything right and is a real pleasure.

RE: How do you like your Alfa 90?

I have this conversation with my son who has had a few Alfa 33s and has now got a VW Golf VR6. There is nothing worse than sitting in traffic with a cranky Alfa and doing that doesn't worry the VW. While the VW is probably as quick as the Alfa around a mountain road, it doesn't put a smile on your face the way that an Alfa does.
I'm probably lucky that I have a work vehicle to drive in the traffic and can save my Alfas (a 90 Super and a 75 Twin Spark) for when I want to enjoy a drive. The 90 is a bit more relaxed than the 75 and the 75 is a bit sharper and better balanced through a set of corners. They are different enough to be interesting but I think they are both magnificent motor vehicles and a joy to drive as long as you are not sitting in them in peak hour traffic every morning and afternoon.
About the fuel usage, I would have thought that 10 litres per 100 kilometres wasn't too bad, particularly if it wasn't all highway driving. Perhaps I've just got a heavy foot on the accelerator.
And as Kristal says, part of the enjoyment is the rarity and spotting another 90 on the road. All up, I think the 90s are lovely old things.
